But we’re back!

The past couple of months it’s been rather quiet from our side. I had to return home to The Netherlands for a while to make sure I don’t get in trouble with my residency. You might not know this, as I didn’t at first, but for many countries the law says there’s a certain amount of time you have to be in your country in a certain time period. Check the rules for your country, because you might get into some trouble if you’re traveling long term.

My time at home was gladly spent on finalizing all footage I’d shot during my 18 months in Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore. I still had heaps of untouched footage to process and wanted to redo all my timelapse movies in 4K, using my gained experience, improved software and new editing functions. For some this might seem weird, to go back to old projects and do it all over again. But I just knew I could do things much better now. And considering the huge amount of time I had spent on capturing all those scenes, I wanted to get the most out of it and make the movies the best of my abilities.

Also it was a welcome time to earn some money for our next travels. Jen did the same in the Philippines and soon we’ll be reunited after a long time to continue our adventures and create new stuff. The next few months we’ll be in Thailand, publishing the many projects I’ve been working, writing new articles and so on. I’ve also decided to challenge myself to get back in shape, while preparing ourselves for our first major hike ever in Nepal! Very excited. If you have any tips on that, please leave it in the comment 🙂

What to expect?

In the next few months I’ll be publishing 20 ‘long’ and 80 ‘short’ movies. It will be a timelapse & drone journey through all the movies I’ve created and locations I’ve visited over the past years. It’s going to be visual trip to some gorgeous and inspiring locations! Starting in my home country The Netherlands, I’ll take you to Spain, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore. If you’ve been following me, you’ll recognize some footage. But I’m certain there’s much you’ve never seen before!

Long movies

My ‘long movies’ are the big projects, which it’s all about, really. These 3-5 minute location- or country-based movies are the ones I’ve put blood, sweat and tears into.

Short movies

My ‘short movies’ are designed specifically for social media, short square movies of 1 minute max. Some contain parts of the full movies, but most are unique and some contain footage I’ve never used before.

New posts

We have plenty of ideas for new posts, so keep an eye out for what’s to come!

Where to watch?!

You’ll find my full movies at my website’s Video section, at Youtube and Vimeo. All movies are available for download from Vimeo! For free, but for personal use only.

My short movies I’ll be publishing at Instagram and Twitter. Facebook is where everything sort of comes together. Here I publish most of my new movies, posts and keep you updated on other developments and cool stuff.

So, if anything, like my Facebook channel to stay up to date and see all wicked stuff! Thanks already and enjoy!
